Solar-Powered Charging Box by Glenden, Zhi Heng, Wayne, Guan Yi
Overview
Collaborating with Serangoon Garden Secondary School (SGSS) and Punggol Library, I contributed to curating an exhibition that displayed the outcomes of a design innovation workshop. This partnership seamlessly blended creativity and technology, showcasing diverse projects from students at SGSS—ranging from solar-powered tricycles to other innovative solutions. The exhibition underscored the transformative potential of design thinking in addressing real-world challenges.
Responsibilities
Within this initiative, I actively assisted students in the prototyping phase, offering guidance to bring their ideas from concept to reality. Ensuring the smooth execution of their creative concepts, my role focused on providing hands-on support to facilitate a conducive learning environment. This included aiding students in translating imaginative designs into tangible prototypes, fostering their growth in design thinking and technological application.
